road from employee
to business owner
I
spent over 20 years
building a successful
career in
pharmaceuticals. I developed a vast array of skills in sales, customer
service, sales support, marketing, online marketing, coaching, and professional
development. With no direct
manager, I had to be a “go-getter”
— and I was. Although I passed the six-figure
income mark, I felt empty and
unfulfilled. I was tired of
working to increase the corporate bottom line rather than for the
benefit of my family and me. I was spending far too much job on my
career and too little on the joys that made my life whole.
I had
always wanted to own my own business and I knew the time had come to
make a big change. I researched several brick-and-mortar businesses
only to realize that this option would require even more of my time, a
huge initial investment, and a long road to profitability. And the home
